Oscar Rey de Castro

He studied Civil Engineering and Systems Analysis at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru since 1970 until 1978. He worked then, at El Diamante footwear factory as Analyst Programmer for five years, the last two years he worked as Systems manager. In 1982 que was hired by the prestigious consultory company, Hansen Holm Alonzo and was assigned for the implementation of systems project for Empresa de Saneamiento de Lima (ESAL). After this, he worked at Panamericana Televisión as Informatics, Methods and Systems Manager for 5 years. At the same time he studied at the Escuela Superior de Administracion de Negocios para Graduados (ESAN) two advanced Economy and Finance programs and also an Informatic program. In 1987 he founded Satel S.A. where he was Director and Vicepresident of the Directory. Between 1990 and 1992 he traveled to Chile to work a the Hogar group. When he returned to Peru, he founded Coasin Peru, a partnership between Satel S.A. and a telecommunications company of Chile. He worked there as Comercial Manager until 1995 when he returned to Satel as Comercial Manager until March, 2001. At the same time he made some bussiness exploring activities in other countries of the region. In 1997 he traveled to Venezuela to found Satel de Venezuela in which he is at the moment, President of the Directory, General Manager and main shareholder. In 2001, he founded Virtual World in which he is General Manager. SInce 2002 he is Director of Network Development and New Bussiness for Aldea Vision in Latin America.

 

Manuel Ito

Electronic Engineer graduated from the Universidad Catolica. Between 1995 and 1996 he traveled to Shiga, Japan where he worked for Canon corporation. Has worked at the Universidad Catolica and Motorola as Technical Support Engineer. From 1999 until 2001 he worked as Comercial Sub Manager for Satel S.A. In 2000 he traveled to Milan, Italy to become qualified as an expert in configuration, design and implementation of educational laboratories at the DeLorenzo Institute. In September 2001 he began to work at Virtual World and in March 2002 he traveled to State College, Pennisylvania to become qualified as an expert in DWDM networks. At the moment he is Technical - Comercial Manager of Virtual World and he also leads the Solution over RFID platform Project.
